Legal Counsellor

Responsibilities:

Contracts; you will structure, draft, interpret, review and negotiate commercial agreements for general contractor, distributor, supply and procurement contracts, leases, logistics, including employment contracts and consultancy agreements across the GCC.
IP; You will drive processes within Hyperspace’s intellectual property and brand protection portfolio, track deliverables and ongoing matters.
Marketing & Social Media; you will advise on aspects of advertising and marketing laws including advertising claims, endorsements, influencer agreements, partnerships and collaborations.
Corporate; leading on aspects of Hyperspace’s corporate and governance responsibilities through UAE & KSA regulations as well as UK & US corporate law.
Compliance; You will lead on aspects of enhancing Hyperspace’s compliance, including aspects of competition law, data privacy, anti-bribery as well as the interpretation and implementation of in-house policies.

About You

A law degree (or equivalent qualification) is the minimum requirement.
1-2 years experience within a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal team
Commercially-astute, proactive individual who understands and manages legal risks and consequences together with business processes, strategy, branding and local regulatory requirements.
Fluent English language is essential; Written
