We are looking for a dedicated police officer to perform a variety of law enforcement duties and maintain public safety. The police officer’s responsibilities will include patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls, investigating diverse incidents, arresting suspects, and preparing incident reports. Responsibilities: • To assist in the implementation of HSE Pillars and Health, Safety and Environment Management System within the port and ensure its compliance with International Safety Standards. • To conduct routine inspections related to fire and safety therefore ensuring operational area is compliant in all matters relating to HSE. • To ensure all Health, Safety and Environment equipment including pollution equipment are tested and maintained to effectively meet emergencies situations. • To advise personnel and ensure training is provided in all safety related matters to all new and existing personnel. • To record and maintain a database of all inspections conducted to follow up and identify corrective actions. • To coordinate with Port and Local Authority bodies for mutual assistance and liaise with Civil Defense during emergencies to mitigate loss of life and damage to property. Requirements: • High school diploma/GED. • Police training academy graduate. • Degree education preferred. • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. • Strong communication and leadership skills. • Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgment. • Good physical condition
